Most visitors consider Rome a perfect base from which to start visits further afield. Rome train station, the busiest in Italy is serviced by Eurostar trains with connections southe to Naples and north to Florence and further to Milan and Venice.

Rome is services by two airports. Rome Fiumicino airport, often called Roma da Vinci airport is located one our driver from Rome and is a major European hub. Rome Ciampino, forty five minutes from Rome sees budget airlines traffic.

Civitavecchia nine minutes drive north of Rome is Rome cruise destination.
