Why Go
Pompeii transports you back in time to antiquity. The affluent Roman town burried during the devastating aruption of Mt. Vesuvius in A.D. 79

The undervisited Villa Poppei in Oplontis, a short drive from Pompeii, was once a beautiful sea from residence of a wealthy family. The area to visit is small but it worth stopping by to see magnificantly preserved frescoes, some of the best from Ancient times.
