Pompeii transports you back in time to antiquity. The affluent Roman town burried during the devastating aruption of Mt. The undervisited Villa Poppei in Oplontis, a short drive from Pompeii, was once a beautiful sea from residence of a wealthy family. The area to visit is small but it worth stopping by to see magnificantly preserved frescoes, some of the best from Ancient times.
Amalfi Coast road takes you allong rugged coastline with vertiginous views more breathtaking then any photo can convey. By many this is the most magnificant landscape of Italy.
